Don and Barbara Laine have authored more than a dozen travel guides to destinations from Texas to California, and New Mexico to Montana. Before becoming fulltime travel writers and photographers, Barbara worked as a draftsman in a land surveying office. Individually and together, Don and Barbara have received about a dozen awards from Rocky Mountain Outdoor Writers and Photographers, including first place honors for Frommer's Rocky Mountain National Park, and New Mexico and Arizona State Parks.
