Charles Crossing is a quintessential black bourgeois. He was educated at Tuskegee Institute, The University of Maryland and Howard University. He has multiple degrees and professional state registration in Engineering. To escape the rigors of his professional life, he writes songs, poetry and prose. Compiled herein is a collection of his poetic expressions and feelings. Some of his work is lyrical with rhythm and rhyme; other poems have cadence but do not rhyme. His poems were written over a number of years and reflect some experiences within his personal life.
