A fantastic early children's book. And featuring a beautiful iconic Australian marsupial. I buy them in bulk now and give one as part of a 'new baby' gift. A great price on The Nile.

I very much enjoy ‘Diary Of A Wombat’. If you have ever had a pet that rules your household you will see that animal in mothball the wombat and have a laugh. It has a story that rings true, bright colours, great pictures and if you get it in the board book it will be safe to let small children turn the pages without fear of them tearing it. I think young children and the adults reading it will enjoy this story. I find it is always better to read a book to a child if you enjoy it too (especially if you have to repeat the same book over and over again) and this is one of those books for me. Jackie French books are great for those looking for children’s story books with an Australian theme. A great present to give.
