A nationally recognized expert whose work has been featured in "Newsweek", "The Wall Street Journal", and "Coast to Coast", Jeffrey Long, MD, is a radiation oncologist in Houma, Louisiana. Long has served on the board of directors of The International Association for Near-Death Studies and is actively involved in NDE research. Dr. Long and his wife, Jody, established the nonprofit Near Death Experience Research Foundation and a website as a forum for people to share their NDEs and to collect scientific data on this phenomenon.
