This book is entertaining as is every other book who deals with adolescents who are "coming out". I couldn't help but feel that I have read this book before as it is so similar in it's handling of the subject matter to other books who deal with the same topics. It is unrealistic in the sense that the 16yo old lead (Jason Peele) is untypically mature (except for his 'schoolgirl' style crush on "Raj")in his overall reaction to his peers & adults in terms of the situations that are thrown in his direction as a result of him being gay and discovering that he is throughout the book. However I did enjoy this light hearted read & I would actually buy a followup book to see what happens with "Jason" say at college or at a later stage in his life.
