While There Are Texts That Focus Specifically Upon Nutrition Per Se, There Is A Lack Of Published Material Discussing Cutting Edge Research Related To The Short And Longer-Term Effects Of Nutrition, And Of The Nature Of The Relationship Between Mother And Infant As A Consequence Of Nutritive And Nurturing Behaviour. Rather Than Presenting A Descriptive Account Of Maternal And Infant Nutrition, Each Chapter Will Provide A Critical And Controversial Perspective. The Book Is Presented In Two Sections: Physiological Aproach To The Continuum Of Nutrition From Preconception Th Rough To Weaning And 2. Sociological Perspectives On The Most Contemporary And Controversial Issues Related To Maternal And Infant Nutrition.
