Carron Brown has been a children.s nonfiction editor and writer for more than 16 years. She.s a keen explorer of the small worlds around her, from her city garden with centipedes, squirrels and foxes, to spotting crabs and cockles on trips to the seashore. Bee Johnson is a Brooklyn-based illustrator, originally from Memphis, TN. She studied illustration at the Savannah College of Art and Design, and has worked for a variety of clients including The New York Times, and National Geographic
