Author Biography

Dame Daphne du Maurier, Lady Browning DBE was an English author and playwright. Many of her works have been adapted into films, including the novels Rebecca and Jamaica Inn and the short stories The Birds and Don't Look Now. Valentine Dyall, the son of veteran actor Franklin Dyall and his first wife Mary Phyllis Dyall, was an English character actor. His distinctive voice made him especially popular as a voice actor and he was known for many years as 'The Man in Black', the narrator of the BBC Radio horror series Appointment with Fear. Audible is a seller and producer of spoken audio entertainment, information, and educational programming on the Internet.
