With the help of healing raw foods and juices, Jamie went from hating her body to loving herself, from fear of food to an intense respect for it as "life's fuel". As a teenager, she was diagnosed with anorexia, and at 5" 7" and 85 lbs, she knew something had to change quickly. She began to eat raw food and drink green juice. Soon she was a certified yoga instructor and educating her clients on a healthy eating lifestyle. She went on to open the popular cafe Gingersnap's Organic in New York where she is widely known as the "Cleansing Queen." Now, she is celebrated and profiled around the country, alongside juice delivery companies Juice Generation and Organic Avenue, for her top of the line cleanses. Blend it, Juice it, Live It will be jam-packed with delicious and energizing recipes you can make in a juicer or blender.
Jamie Graber is the owner of Gingersnap's Organic. She is a certified yoga teacher and an Institute of Integrative Nutrition life coach. She lives in New York City with her chef-husband.
