Description

Until his death in 2012, world-renowned astronomer and broadcaster Sir Patrick Moore edited this indispensable guide for fifty-two consecutive years. With the 2015 Yearbook of Astronomy, his friend and long-time co-editor Dr John Mason continues Sir Patrick's legacy.

The Yearbook of Astronomy collects together a month-by-month guide to events to look out for over the coming year, from eclipses and planets, to comets, meteors, nebulae and phases of the Moon; but it also contains authoritative charts, astronomical data and a series of specially commissioned articles by some of the world's leading astronomers - a fitting tribute to an extraordinary man who popularized astronomy for over half a century.
