Pam is a prolific composer for young instrumentalists and has a knack of creating tunes students just love to play and teachers love to teach! Her catchy tunes are so well written for each instrument and they are presented in eye catching books that students and teachers both really enjoy them. This latest book is the third in a series of piano solo books called After Hours Jazz, which alongside arrangements of favourite jazz standards by Pam Wedgwood. It is suitable for the Grade 4-6 Pianist and would provide interest for senior school students as well as adults who were learning later in life. Ensemble Magazine, Spring 2012 For solos piano, this book features a lot of well-known jazz standards from Gershwin (It Ain't Necessarily So, Fascinating Rhythm, Summertime) and other popular tunes, such as A Fine Romance and Cole Porte's Night and Day.
