A big-hearted romance from the Australian outback, reminiscent of Nora Roberts's "Montana Sky".
Rachael Treasure was born in Hobart in 1968 and now lives on a sheep farm in Tasmania with her husband, children and a menagerie of farm animals. Rachael began her working life as a jillaroo (trainee farmhand) before attending Orange Agricultural College in New South Wales. She was a rural journalist before becoming a full-time novelist. River Run Deep (published under the title Jillaroo) was a bestseller for Penguin Australia. For more information visit Rachael's website Treasure's Tales
"I was caught up in the drama, fun, rocky romances and many adventures of Rebecca, one of the most refreshing Australian heroines ever ... By the end of this book, you yearn for a ute, a pair of boots, and the wide open spaces." -- Carol George Australian Women's Weekly "Rebecca is a wonderful character, being both feisty and fallible ... The author's easy narrative and solid and believable characters and plot ... make River Run Deep a widely appealing read. In short, a real treasure." Australian Bookseller and Publisher
