Amitav Ghosh

Amitav Ghosh is the bestselling author of the Ibis trilogy (Sea of Poppies, River of Smoke, and Flood of Fire), along with novels like The Circle of Reason and The Glass Palace, and acclaimed nonfiction works. His achievements include multiple major awards, such as being the first English-language writer to win the Jnanpith Award and receiving the 2024 Erasmus Prize. He lives in Brooklyn, New York.
