Craig Renney

Craig Renney is the Economist and Director of Policy at the New Zealand Council of Trade Unions and former Senior Advisor to the Labour-led government, contributing to the Wellbeing Budgets. Originally from Northumberland, UK, he holds qualifications in economics and public policy, serves as Vice Chair of the Labour Party Policy Council, and is a Labour candidate for the 2026 general election.
