Daniel Hahn

Daniel Hahn is an award-winning writer, editor, and translator with over a hundred books to his name, including Catching Fire: a translation diary and The Oxford Companion to Children's Literature. He translates fiction, non-fiction, and children’s books from Portuguese, Spanish, and French, with recent work including If This Be Magic and fiction from Latin America. He is currently translating an Angolan novel, co-editing The Penguin Book of Brazilian Short Stories, and has served as chair of the UK’s Society of Authors.
