Fury Bound - Sable Sorensen

I know I included this last month, but I can’t explain enough how good this book was. Sometimes sequels (especially of the fantasy kind) don’t hold up to their first in series, but this certainly did. I was gripped from page one, and now have to wait another year to dive back into the world.

One Golden Summer - Carley Fortune

I haven't loved a straight-up romance this much in a while, but I was so invested in Alice & Charlie’s quirks as individuals, and watching their relationship blossom. Chuck in the gorgeous lake setting Carley Fortune is known for - and you’ve got a winner.

Hello Beautiful - Ann Napolitano

One of the sweetest, yet most compelling family dynamic character fictions I’ve ever read. It’s a Little Women reimagining, while also mentioning its own likeness to the source in a very meta way. Really loved this take on generational secrets, grudges and conflict.

Rewind it Back - Liz Tomforde

I finally picked up the last instalment from the Windy City series, and can’t believe I waited so long to get to know Rio so personally. He and Hallie’s childhood lovers- to strangers - to lovers was really sweet to watch, and I read this in very few sittings.

In Her Own League - Liz Tomforde

Reese Remington is who I want to be when I grow up. Powerful, confident, and hitting home runs in the board room (well, maybe not…) she packs a punch and knows what she wants. That also happens to be the team coach Monty (who we know from Caught Up - Windy City Series book 3. Loved this, highly recommend it.
