About The Author
Lindsey Davis
Lindsey Davis is a historical novelist best known for her novels set in Ancient Rome. Her work includes the popular Marcus Didius Falco series and a newer series featuring Flavia Albia, set during the reign of Emperor Domitian. Davis has also written about the English Civil War, contributing to the Quick Reads literacy initiative with the novel A Cruel Fate.
Her books have been translated and adapted for BBC Radio 4. She is a recipient of numerous awards, including the Premio Colosseo from the city of Rome, the Crime Writers’ Association Cartier Diamond Dagger for lifetime achievement, and the City of Ubeda Historical Novel Prize, also for lifetime achievement.
