Iris Murdoch
Iris Murdoch (1919-1999)
Iris Murdoch was born in Dublin and raised in London. She pursued her philosophical studies at Cambridge, later becoming a philosophy fellow at St. Anne’s College for two decades. Her literary career began in 1954 with the publication of her debut novel, which immediately established her as a significant literary voice.
