Summary

Primo Levi
Primo Levi (1919-1987) was an Italian Jew and a survivor of the Holocaust and imprisonment in Auschwitz. He did not gain widespread attention from English-reading audiences until the final years of his life. Levi is considered one of the most compelling voices of the 20th century. The Periodic Table is his most famous book. He is also the author of Moments of Reprieve and If Not Now, When?
