John Romer
John Romer has been actively involved in archaeological work in Egypt since 1966, contributing to significant sites such as Karnak and Medinet Habu. He pioneered conservation studies in the Valley of the Kings and led the Brooklyn Museum expedition that excavated the tomb of Ramesses XI.
Romer is also a prolific writer and presenter, having created and appeared in several television series, including “Romer’s Egypt,” “Ancient Lives,” “Testament,” and “Byzantium.” His notable books include “The Great Pyramid: Ancient Egypt Revisited” and “Valley of the Kings.”
He currently resides in Italy.
