Tom Overton
Tom Overton spent fifteen years following the traces of John Berger’s archive from Moscow to Texas, and from the Alps to Istanbul, after cataloguing his collection at the British Library. He collaborated with Berger on editing Portraits: John Berger on Artists and Landscapes: John Berger on Art. He also worked with Matthew Harle on The Underground Sea: John Berger on Miners and the Miners’ Strike, and with Katya Berger on a forthcoming edition of Berger’s letters. Overton has written for The Guardian, New Statesman, Frieze, and the London Review of Books and Paris Review blogs. He is the Archive Curator of the Barbican Centre and lives in Sheffield.
