Masako Carey is a Japanese-born storyteller who now lives in Northern Ireland. As a child, Masako loved reading books and watching animated Japanese folktales on TV. Katie Ponder is an award-winning illustrator whose work has been featured in exhibitions at Somerset House. Her inspirations include ballet, ghost stories, and the greenhouses at Kew Gardens.
