About The Author
Eric Hill
Eric Hill (1927-2014) began his artistic journey as an art studio messenger before transitioning to a career as a cartoonist and later an art director at a prominent advertising agency. In 1978, Eric created a bedtime story for his son featuring a small puppy, thus bringing Spot to life. The remarkable success of his debut lift-the-flap book, Where’s Spot?, in 1980, inspired him to dedicate himself fully to writing. His Spot books have since brought joy to children globally. In recognition of his contributions to children’s literacy, he was awarded an OBE in 2008.
