Matt Piper
About the Author and Illustrator
Matt Piper is an experienced author of young fiction who has written over 100 books for kids featuring many of the world’s best-loved characters and bestselling brands, including Bluey, Peppa Pig, Paddington, and Peter Rabbit. He also writes and illustrates original fiction and picture books under the name Bec Gerlings.
Sam Filstrup is an illustrator from the San Francisco Bay Area. After receiving a Bachelor’s in Animation and Visual Effects from the Academy of Art University, he has had a diverse career working in illustration, animation, and video game development, including work on major titles like Sly Cooper IV: Thieves in Time. He co-founded Yoyogi Games with his brother in 2022. His love for LEGO builds began at an early age, inspired by his grandmother who gifted him some of his first sets.
