Gillian Catriona Ramchand is Professor of Linguistics at the Institute for Language and Culture at the University of Troms -the Arctic University of Norway; she was previously University Lecturer in General Linguistics at Oxford University. She is President of GLOW (Generative Linguistics in the Old World) and the author of Aspect and Predication- The Semantics of Argument Structure and Verbal Meaning and the Lexicon.
