Allen R. Wells (he/him) is an author and engineer. He was born in Jackson, Mississippi. He studied Architectural Engineering at Tennessee State University in Nashville. It’s Pride, Baby! is his debut picture book. He currently lives in Virginia.
Dia Valle (they/them) is an illustrator based out of Brooklyn who loves to create relatable characters with a touch of whimsy, draw cute outfits, and explore themes of friendship and found family.
