About The Author

George Martin

George Martin is the author of a numerous biographies, references books and works on opera and law. He is the author of the classic The Opera Companion and Twentieth Century Opera: A Guide. Fred Gwynne, the book’s artist, was, also, a noted author, illustrator, singer and actor. He was best-known for his portrayal of Herman Munster on the 1960s sit-com classic The Munsters. He died in 1993.
