Critics Review
Praise forPumpkin Soup: “The stunning lustrous illustrations which accompany this story reflect its warmth, vivacity and humour.” Books Etc From the Hardcover edition.
A spectacular sequel to Pumpkin Soup … Share Cooper’s recipe for success, close the covers and then hear the cries for more * TES *Fraught territory, beautifully controlled * Guardian *As well as being beautifully illustrated and full of the same spiky humour as Cooper’s best-selling Pumpkin Soup, it conveys how scary being lost can be - for children and parents * Daily Telegraph *Well designed and beautifully produced, it positively glows with mellow autumn warmth and fruitfulness * Books for Keeps *The rich, glowing colours give a New York-like city an oriental, almost psychedelic look … The book has an adorable quality. One of my favourites * The Children’s Bookseller *
