What They're Saying

Critics Review

Compulsively readable

Relentless, heart-stopping suspense * Kirkus Reviews *
Price’s pacing is tight, aided by direct, clipped prose that underscores Scotty’s brutality and Angel’s fragile emotional state. Both the best and worst of humanity shine through in this gripping novel * Publishers Weekly *
If suspense is your bag, this is a book to read * VOYA *
Price’s fast-paced thrilling story paints a bleak and depressing picture of American ‘trailer’ life set against an unforgiving landscape … Revealing, raw and shocking but it’s also moving, uplifting and totally unmissable – Pam Norfolk * Blackpool Gazette *
Compulsively readable * Books for Keeps *
I was completely hooked – Emma Jones * South Wales Argus *
… An exciting and suspenseful thriller with some important things to say about the human capacity for good and evil. * School Librarian *
Desert Angel is a seriously terrifying and tense story … I got very emotionally involved … I’d recommend it to both teen and adult readers. * andthenireadabook.blogspot *
