About The Author

Susan Maupin Schmid

Susan Maupin Schmid is the author of 100 Dresses: If the Magic Fits. She grew up next to a cemetery, though she never saw a single ghost. Her favorite tombstone belonged to Princetta Blakely, a monument of sparkly black granite. Susan often imagined what life would be like with such an amazing name. She also read books, so many that she exasperated her local librarian. When her parents built a summer home by a lake, she acquired a library card from that library. Through the years, Susan has continued to read, imagine, and collect library cards.
