Amy Krouse Rosenthal
Born in 1965, Amy Krouse Rosenthal was a prolific writer, speaker, filmmaker, and radio show host. She also contributed to TED Talks and authored several adult and children’s books, including Uni the Unicorn and Uni the Unicorn and the Dream Come True. She lived in Chicago with her husband and children. In March 2017, she announced she was terminally ill with cancer. Her essay for the New York Times Modern Love column, “You May Want to Marry My Husband,” went viral shortly before her death on March 13, 2017.
