Pia Imperial
Eva Ibarzabal holds a BA in Modern Languages and a Master’s Degree in Translation. She previously worked as a news producer for a local TV network and as a freelance medical translator. Driven by her passion for literature, she transitioned to translating fiction, biographies, graphic novels, and children’s books.
Her Spanish translation of The Beloved World of Sonia Sotomayor and the memoir The Truths We Hold: An American Journey by Vice President Kamala Harris have been recognized for two consecutive years by the International Latino Book Awards. For the latter, she was awarded the Gold Medal in 2021.
Eva lives in San Juan, Puerto Rico.
