About The Author

Steve Dalton

Steve Dalton is the author of The 2-Hour Job Search and The Job Closer, which have sold more than 100,000 copies worldwide, been taught at over 150 universities, and adapted for use by Fortune 500 companies. His work is known for turning networking and relationship building into clear, repeatable systems for people who don’t consider themselves natural networkers.

Dalton developed his approach during the 2008 financial crisis after seeing talented job seekers overwhelmed by advice that worked only for a lucky few. He has since delivered hundreds of workshops and keynotes for universities, employers, and professional organizations. Earlier in his career, he worked as a chemical engineer, strategy consultant, and marketer. Dalton holds an MBA from Duke University.
