About The Author
Margaret Spurling
Margaret Spurling grew up in Adelaide, South Australia. On leaving school she became a junior primary teacher and taught in schools in the metropolitan area. Her first published book, Bilby Moon, has sold 50,000 copies worldwide. Hush Say the Stars is her third book.
Mandy Foot is an award-winning, best-selling children’s book author and illustrator with more than 300,000 books sold throughout Australia and New Zealand. She is an Ambassador for Raising Literacy Australia, Role Model for Books in Homes and the Illustrator Co-ordinator for the Society of Children’s Books Writers and Illustrators Society (SCBWI) South Australian branch. She is also a member of Ekidnas (South Australian Children’s Authors and Illustrators - published), Illustrators Australia, Adelaide Illustrators, Writers SA and the Children’s Book Council of Australia (CBCA). She holds a Bachelor of Design (Illustration) from the University of South Australia.
