What They're Saying
Critics Review
“In their fourth story together, the Mile End kids, a group of friends who live in urban Montreal, have congregated to help diminutive, determined Tom get the hang of cycling… . Arsenault lovingly observes the bumpy path of progress that leads to gleeful independence… . Meeting a childhood challenge proves beautifully rewarding in this fun, dreamy story.” —Kirkus Reviews
“Isabelle Arsenault uses a restricted palette to marvellous effect… . [I]t is a delight to follow him as he winds his way persistently across the pages… . Limited text in a comic book-style layout makes this an accessible book for early readers.” —Quill & Quire
