Michael Sawyer is an Associate Professor of English and David C. Fredericks Honors College Electus Faculty Fellow at the University of Pittsburgh. He has delivered talks and keynotes for numerous prestigious institutions, among them NYU, Yale, Brown, the Schomburg Center for Research in Black Culture - New York Public Library, Morehouse College, and others.
