نؤاستراداموس البغدادي و شهرزاد

This novel is a work of magical realism, set in Iraq during the American occupation after 2003. It employs symbolism and fantasy. The author and narrator are both participants in the events. The story centers on two main characters:

• Scheherazade: A woman who was captured by the occupying army and suffered a psychological breakdown due to the trauma, rendering her unable to walk.
• Nu’as: A man from Baghdad suffering from a rare psychological condition that causes him to see the date of death of everyone he encounters.
