Brian Michael Bendis
Brian Michael Bendis is an award-winning comic-book creator and one of the most successful writers in the industry. His notable works include an acclaimed run on Daredevil, a renaissance for the Avengers franchise, and event projects such as House of M, Secret War, Secret Invasion, Siege, Age of Ultron, and Civil War II. Bendis wrote every issue of Ultimate Spider-Man from its launch in 2000, introducing the multiracial Spider-Man, Miles Morales, to the Marvel Universe. He also worked on Marvel’s mutants in All-New X-Men and Uncanny X-Men, launched Guardians of the Galaxy, and shook up the life of Tony Stark in Invincible Iron Man, introducing Riri Williams as Ironheart. He assembled street-level heroes in Defenders, featuring Luke Cage, Iron Fist, Daredevil, and his co-creation Jessica Jones. His creator-owned projects include Scarlet with Alex Maleev, Brilliant with Mark Bagley, Takio, and the Eisner Award-winning Powers with Michael Avon Oeming.
Olivier Coipel is an artist who captured the attention of Avengers fans with his work in 2004, followed by a star turn on the 2005 limited series House of M. He illustrated J. Michael Straczynski’s Thor, restoring the grandeur of Asgard. Coipel reunited with Brian Michael Bendis for the Marvel mega-event Siege.
