About The Author

Marc Guggenheim

Marc Guggenheim is a veteran TV writer who has penned episodes of The Practice, Law & Order, and Brothers & Sisters. He created the series Eli Stone and served as a writer/producer for FlashForward and executive producer on the highly successful Arrow. In the comic world, he has written memorable work on Blade, Wolverine, Amazing Spider-Man, and Young X-Men. His subsequent Marvel credits include X-Men, the limited series Squadron Sinister and X-Tinction Agenda (part of Secret Wars), and Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. for All-New, All-Different Marvel.

Kaare Andrews is a Canadian artist, writer, and illustrator known for his stylistically flexible work with pencils, inks, paints, and computer graphics. Born in Manitoba and raised in Saskatchewan, he attended school in Alberta before moving to British Columbia. Inspired by comics like Marvel’s G.I. Joe and X-Men from a young age, Andrews pursued a career in comics, beginning with independent publishers before moving to larger companies such as Image, Wildstorm, and Marvel. At Marvel, his credits include Before the Fantastic Four: Ben Grimm and Logan, Black Panther, Gambit, Marvel Knights Millennial Visions, Marvel Mangaverse: Spider-Man, Spider-Man/Doctor Octopus: Year One, Spider-Man: Legend of the Spider-Clan, Spider-Man’s Tangled Web, Thor, Ultimate X-Men, Wolverine, and X-Men Unlimited. Other projects include Gen 13 and Thundercats/Battle of the Planets. A Joe Shuster Award winner and an Eisner Award nominee, Andrews has also worked in album design and film direction.
