Vita Ayala
Seanan Maguire is an award-winning author with 15 books in the New York Times bestselling urban fantasy series October Daye, among multiple other novels and short stories. Maguire made a significant impact at Marvel, crafting Gwen Stacy’s superhero adventures across several titles. Her other credits include Fearless and Age of X-Man: The Amazing Nightcrawler.
Vita Ayala is a New York-native Afro-Latinx writer who graduated from DC Comics’ inaugural Talent Development Workshop. They have since worked on some of the publisher’s most famous characters, including Wonder Woman, Supergirl, and Suicide Squad. Ayala’s collaboration with artist Emily Pearson on the zombie story The Wilds for Black Mask garnered industry-wide attention, including at Marvel, where they showcased their talents on books such as Shuri and Marvel Knights: 20th. Following this, they wrote the limited series Age of X-Man: Prisoner X, the ongoing Morbius, and introduced a new generation of mutants for Dawn of X in Children of the Atom. Additionally, Ayala has written comic books featuring diverse pop-culture icons like Xena: Warrior Princess and James Bond, as well as their critically acclaimed series Livewire for Valiant Comics.
Takeshi Miyazawa is a Canadian artist whose style is deeply influenced by his lifelong love of anime and manga. His unique artistry first appeared in projects like Sidekicks, Runaways, and Amazing Fantasy, leading to Spider-Man Loves Mary Jane in collaboration with writer Sean McKeever. Miyazawa has since specialized in illustrating many of Marvel’s leading female characters, adding Mary Jane, Ms. Marvel, Silk, and Ghost-Spider to his resume.
Ig Guara is an artist whose delightful take on the Marvel Universe was first seen in the all-ages title Marvel Adventures: The Avengers, and later in Lockjaw and the Pet Avengers. He progressed to full superhero action in books including All-New Wolverine, Ghost-Spider, Marvel Team-Up, and Captain America: Symbol of Truth.
