Sara Cox
Sara Cox is a beloved presenter on BBC Radio 2, currently hosting the iconic Breakfast Show after seven years on the teatime slot. Her broadcasting career began at BBC Radio 1, where she hosted the Breakfast Show for four years, reaching an audience of eight million listeners. She recently received the Best Audio Presenter award at the Broadcasting Press Guild Awards.
On television, Sara hosted the popular weekly book program Between The Covers on BBC Two and was a regular co-host of BBC Two’s Morning Live. Her other television credits include The Great Pottery Throwdown, Back In Time for Tea, and Love In The Countryside. She is currently filming the second series of The Marvellous Miniature Workshop for BBC One.
Sara has also contributed columns to The Mirror and The Guardian. Her memoir, Till The Cows Come Home, was a Sunday Times bestseller, as were her previous novels Thrown and Way Back.
In 2025, Sara successfully raised £11.7 million for Children In Need by completing five ultra-marathons in five days as part of her Great Northern Marathon Challenge.
Sara resides with her family in North London. She maintains a connection to her farming roots through her numerous pets and by riding her horse, Nelly.
