About The Author

Ross Montgomery

Ross Montgomery is the author of Ten Delicious Teachers, Penguin Huddle, Ant Party and Pog and Pickle’s Great Escape illustrated by Sarah Warburton. His novel I Am Rebel won the Waterstones Children’s Book of the Year, and The Midnight Guardians was the Waterstones Children’s Book of the Month. His books have been nominated for the Costa Children’s Book of the Year, the Branford Boase Award, the Laugh-Out-Loud Book Awards and the Carnegie Medal. His first book for adults, The Murder at World’s End, published to great acclaim and was chosen as a BBC Radio 2 Book Club Pick. He lives in London.

Sarah Warburton is the illustrator of a number of popular titles and has had her work translated into 40 languages.
