Rachel J. Good
Rachel J. Good is an inspirational author whose Amish romances are set near her childhood home of Lancaster, Pennsylvania. She maintains close ties with Amish friends, who ensure the authenticity of her novels.
Good is a prolific writer, with over 2,300 articles and 50 books published or forthcoming under various pseudonyms. Her Love & Promises series, published by Grand Central, features The Amish Teacher’s Gift, which achieved bestseller status, remaining on the BookScan list for five weeks.
A former teacher and children’s librarian, Good earned her MA from Vermont College while raising five children. She is currently pursuing her MFA at Hollins University. In addition to her writing, she balances freelance editing and illustrating, and teaches writing and creativity classes.
