Pipi Sposito
Pipi Sposito, born in Buenos Aires in the 1960s, has been drawing since childhood. In his youth, he also created plasticine figures, which he brought to school as a pastime. At 19, he discovered his ability to earn a living through his artwork. Pipi began by designing for humor magazines, where he was exposed to the original works of many experienced artists, and simultaneously received encouragement to publish his own creations. His curiosity has driven his artistic journey ever since. Pipi’s drawings are typically humorous and expressive. He develops cartoons and children’s illustrations in various artistic styles, as well as 3D figures and puppets. He also engages in caricature and has contributed to character design for animation, key animation, and layouts. Pipi finds inspiration in listening to music while he works, with a particular fondness for artists like Zappa, Bowie, Queen, and progressive rock.
