Oku Hiroya
Hiroya Oku is a manga artist and the creator of Gantz, Zero One, and HEN, all of which have been serialized in Young Jump magazine. His manga often contain explicit violence, gore, and sexual situations. In 1988, Oku won the second prize of the Youth Manga Awards under the pen name Yahiro Kuon. He also designed the character “Shura” for Bandai Namco’s fighting game Soulcalibur IV. Oku lives in Japan.
