Marisha Ray

Marisha Ray is a producer, voice actor, and uber-nerd based out of Los Angeles. She is known for her roles in video games and animation, as well as the massively popular hit show and media brand, Critical Role.

Critical Role has become one of the most popular storytelling and world-building independent media companies in the world. Marisha plays a pivotal role within the company as Creative Director, a primary cast member of the flagship show, and executive producer of The Legend of Vox Machina animated series. Much of the content on the Critical Role channels is a product of Marisha’s creative philosophy and vision, and she can often be seen in front of the camera hosting or entertaining.

Prior to Critical Role, Marisha was the Creative Director of Geek & Sundry at Legendary Digital Networks and the main host for GameStop’s programs. She has been producing and creating web content for over 10 years.

Marisha got her start in theater on the east coast, working and training at companies such as the Actors Theatre of Louisville, American Academy of the Dramatic Arts, Point Park University Conservatory of Performing Arts, and the Governor’s School for the Arts. She is also an avid gamer, carrying her love for gaming and geek culture into her creative, hosting, and writing career.

Matthew Mercer

Matthew Mercer is a Los Angeles-based actor best known for his roles in animation and video games, as well as the massively popular hit show and media brand, Critical Role.

Critical Role has become one of the most popular storytelling and world-building independent media companies in the world. Matthew plays a pivotal role within the company as Chief Creative Officer, a primary cast member, and executive producer of The Legend of Vox Machina animated series. As CCO, Matthew helps shape the overall creative vision of the company, helping it become the powerhouse organization it is today.

Mercer was named Voice Actor of the Year at the 2017 BTVA People’s Choice Voice Acting Awards for his role as McCree, where he also received a win for Best Vocal Ensemble in a Video Game. He has also received numerous other BTVA awards.
