Eoin Colfer
Eoin Colfer (pronounced “Owen”) has written several bestselling children’s novels, including the Artemis Fowl series, which has been translated into forty-two languages and won several international awards. Eoin has always had a strong sense of fairness, and in response to Article 24 he wrote his story about the injustice of a child whose youth is cut short through no fault of his own. He also wanted to show that bad things can happen close to home as well as far away. He lives in Ireland.
