Critics Review
Galvin is a highly cinematic writer, and his vivid descriptions and cliffhanger chapters will appeal just as strongly to less confident readers. At heart, The Thing About Giants is a lyrical story of how friendship can transcend inherited hostility, and it recalls the enduring appeal of classics such as The Iron Man. * The Telegraph *
