About The Author
Andrea Zimmerman
Andrea Zimmerman was born in Ohio and grew up in New York, Utah, and California. As a child, she loved exploring nature and reading comic books. She went to college, got a degree in fine arts for children, and started writing. Later, she went back to school at UCLA and became a dentist. She has three grown sons and lives in Southern California. She enjoys going to museums, gardening, and traveling. Together with her husband, David Clemesha, she writes and illustrates picture books.
David Clemesha grew up in England and moved to the United States when he was sixteen. He has always loved playing tennis, drawing, and reading. He went to college, received a degree in English, and became an elementary school teacher. With his wife, Andrea, they are the authors of All Buckled Up, My Dog Toby, The Cow Buzzed, and Trashy Town, which was an ALA Notable Book. He loves studying, being with his family, and going to museums.
