Alessandro Ferrari
Alessandro Ferrari (born 1978) is a comics and animation screenwriter as well as an author. His career as a writer began in 2005 during a course at the Disney Academy in Milan. From a very young age, he was already writing stories and comics, and by the time he finished high school, he knew this would become his profession. Alessandro Q. Ferrari has been a guest at the Mare di Libri festival in 2010 and 2018.
Emilio Urbano
Emilio Urbano, born in Naples in 1974, is an artist for the Italian Disney comics productions since the late 1990s. He has done stories with Simba in Amici di Zampa, gag pages with Pierino & Pieretto in Topolino, and stories and covers for PK2, the comic book about Donald as the superhero Paperinik. He has drawn the 14th book in the series Monster Allergy in 2006, and was also one of the artists of Disney’s Ultraheroes comic in 2008. Apart from Disney, Urbano has provided the artwork for Adeline Blondieau’s children’s drama serial Célimène with Manuela Razzi, published by Le Lombard since 2011. He has also drawn for Marvel’s The Mighty Avengers in 2011.
Antonello Dalena
Antonello Dalena got his start by illustrating short stories for Disney (Mickey, Donald Duck). He also drew character designs for the cartoon production society Artoonic. Then he became a student of Alessandro Barbucci, illustrator of SkyDoll (Soleil), and discovered the Frenco-Belgian bande dessinée. Impressed by his abilities, Barbucci entrusted him with two volumes of Monster Allergy (Tunué; Insight/Europe Comics in English). Eventually, alongside Guillaume Bianco, he illustrated his first entire series, Ernest & Rebecca (Le Lombard; Papercutz/Europe Comics in English), which won an award at Angouleme in 2013. He alternated the illustration of Ernest & Rebecca with the series Sybil, la fée cartable (Le Lombard), written by Michel Rodrigue. A young prodigy of the Italian school, Dalena is an artist who doesn’t impose on himself any specific stylistic identity, in order to find his own graphic personality, between manga and animation. His most recent work is Hercule, agent intergalactique (Le Lombard; Hercules Intergalactic Agent, Europe Comics, 2019).
Angela Capolupo
Angela Capolupo is an artist who has illustrated the Disney Palace Pet books, The Great Mountain Adventure, and The Pet Pawlympics, among other projects.
